Great service, and restaurant. I thought the food was very good, too. I was in the mood for vegetarian and it did not disappoint me. I would go again.

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA

This colorful and phenomenal city of Cambodia is situated at the junction of Mekong, Bassac and Tonle Sap rivers.  There is so many books you can read to know the terrifying history but only local can tell you the personal experience. Hire a tour guide and don't miss to visit the National Museum, the Genocide Museum, the Killing Fields, Independence monument. Local believe these sites are a mark to what the older generation have suffered but it provides a proud feeling to younger ones how united they are now.
Being a religious country, the belief and faith in Buddhism among Khmer people is so evident that you can see pagodas and monks while walking or driving down the streets everywhere. Two famous pagodas are Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom.
As sad and horrifying the history of Cambodia is, you will be amazed by the progress of this beautiful country. There are high-end shopping areas like AEON Mall, Boeung Keng Kang BKK, Toul Kork (TK Avenue), Exchange Square, Bridge Mall…. The city is completely transforming. Among many high-rise constructions we still have central market, russian market, night market, olympic market and orussey market built before 1950s. Get your hands on beautiful local carvings, paintings, silk, silver, gems and antiques.
At night you can take a long walk along Mekong river and explore stunning riverside views. Or try your luck at extravagant casinos at Naga World. Dance the night away in pubs, bars or interesting venues on bassac lane, street 308, street 51 and various other spots on riverfront.
If you are in Cambodia spare some time to visit Angkor Wat, Kampot, Siem Reap, Koh Rong beaches and offering accommodations from luxury (Intercontinental Hotel) to on-budget (Mad Monkey hostels).
